Director's Message
Welcome to the OC Theater Department. We are glad you stopped
in. As you read about us on the pages that follow, we hope you will let
us get to know you better by contacting us and telling us about yourself.
A Reputation
for Excellence
The theater program at OC seeks not only to prepare students for purposeful
lives of service, but also to enrich the cultural life of all the university's
students, faculty, and staff, and to reach out to the community at large.
In doing this, the OC Theater Department has achieved a reputation for
developing excellence in theatre arts.
Faculty Facts
Dr. Burt Smith, Professor of Business, is the author of the book The Great Game of Networking and he is an accomplished entrepreneur. He is the past president of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and a former board member for the OKC Chamber of Commerce. His academic interests include organizational design, marketing management, strategy, small business, branding, and customer satisfaction. He says he works at OC "because I love serving the mission. I really feel called to be here."
