A cautionary tale adapted by William Glennon
Production dates: Sept. 25th & 26th at 10 am & 7 pm and Sept. 27th at 7 pm
Place: JUDD Theatre
Director: Dr. Darrel Alexander
A plague of rats is not all that is wrong in Hamelin; in fact, the emphasis is on the failure of the adults to understand their children--a situation the Pied Piper tries to set right.
This conflict breathes new meaning into this very famous story. Colorful, believable characters and a brand new climax add dimension, excitement, and drama to this most imaginative version.
Dr. Alexander has re-imagined the location from medieval Europe to the Mississippi River country of Mark Twain's era. Children will enjoy seeing the colorful story in an American setting.
"This version of the pied piper tale by William Glennon has been produced around the world." -Dramatic Publishing Company.
