Internship Opportunities
Students interested in doing summer internships in theatre have many options. One option is to work with OC's Open Circle Playhouse, a summer stock theatre. Students get to act, work backstage, and wait tables for the productions, as well as receive academic credit. Recent productions mounted by Open Circle Playhouse include " Marvin's Room," "The Last Night of Ballyhoo," "Crimes of the Heart," and "Mother Hicks."
A second option is to work with other theatres nationally. Recent student internships were completed at the Coalition of Christian Colleges and University's Los Angeles Center for Screen Writing, at the Sarasota Theatre in Sarasota , Florida , and at California State University at Santa Rosa .
