Mission Statement
The Nursing Program at Oklahoma Christian University seeks to educate and prepare professional nurses who exemplify the essence of Christian service throughout their nursing practice with an emphasis on servant leadership within foreign and domestic mission fields.
Who We Are
Whether they're in the mountains of Honduras, the biggest hospital in Oklahoma, or a free clinic in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Christian University's nursing students learn while they serve. OC's nursing rotations take students all over the world. They might help deliver a baby, teach sanitation, and deliver life-saving oral rehydration therapy all in one week.
International and domestic rotations give OC nursing students a range of experiences not available in other programs. And OC's nursing program has the backing of one of the best science faculties in the state. More than 95% of OC's science graduates who apply to graduate and medical schools are accepted. Faculty Facts
Linda is honored to be the Chair of Nursing at Oklahoma Christian. She is like many who are so excited to finally see a nursing program at OC. Linda has over 23 years of nursing education experience and holds the Certified Nurse Educator recognition through the National League of Nursing.
