Nursing

There just isn't enough space in the nursing programs nationwide for all the excellent, qualified applicants. At the same time, hospital administrators are recruiting heavily for new nurses. There aren't enough nurses, and there isn't enough nursing training.

So Oklahoma Christian University started a nursing program in the Fall of 2006. But it isn't a typical nursing program.

Whether they're in the mountains of Honduras, the biggest hospital in Oklahoma, or a free clinic in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Christian University's nursing students learn while they serve. OC's nursing rotations take students all over the world. They might help deliver a baby, teach sanitation, and deliver life-saving oral rehydration therapy all in one week.

International and domestic rotations give OC nursing students a range of experiences not available in other programs. And OC's nursing program has the backing of one of the best science faculties in the state. More than 95% of OC's science graduates who apply to graduate and medical schools are accepted. That's because the classes are rigorous and the professors care deeply about student success. So join us for a brand new adventure in nursing. Click here for the Nursing Application
