Scholarships

Internships
Information on local internship opportunities is located in Room 202 in the Language and Literature Department, or you may contact the Career Center for more information.

Conferences
Faculty and students of the department attend the SCMLA or CCL during the fall semester each year. Several OC students have presented their papers at these conferences.

A Shakespeare Festival Study Tour
Each summer a group of students and faculty travel to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada. Participating students may receive credit for Perspectives in Fine Arts or Perspectives in Literature. For more information, pick up a brochure in the Language and Literature office.

Faculty Facts

Cami Agan Dr. Cami Agan, Professor of English, is interested in eighteenth century drama, medieval drama, Tolkien, women's studies, and anthropological studies. "The intellectual community of my department (students and faculty) sustains and inspires me. I feel I am contributing positively to the 'seeking' student."
