The Oklahoma Christian University Department of Communication serves more than 100 students in various fields of human and mass communication and drama. Its facilities include the Crehan Video Center, the Oklahoma Publishing Company Journalism Lab, Eagle Broadcasting and two theatrical venues, all housed in the newly-remodeled Garvey Center.

Students from the department produce a full season of plays and musicals, a weekly television newscast, and a weekly campus newspaper, and also broadcast all Oklahoma Christian University basketball games to the Oklahoma City and Tulsa markets.
