Athletic Achievements
Oklahoma Christian University is a member of the NAIA and the Sooner Athletic Conference, recognized as the premier small-college conference in the nation.
OC fields teams in men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track and field, men's golf and women's softball, with student-athletes honored as NAIA All-Americans and NAIA Scholar-Athletes on an annual basis.
OC is a perennial contender on the national scene, highlighted by top-10 rankings in the NAIA All-Sports Standings in 2003 and 2010.
OC student-athletes have claimed more than 30 national championships in track and field and cross country, including multiple titles over the last three years. Oklahoma Christian also owns team national championships in men's tennis (2003) and men's golf (2009).
With all our recent athletic success, we may be most proud of our 3.2 cumulative GPA for the entire athletic department in 2009-10. OC also is recognized as an NAIA Champions of Character institution for the impact it makes through charitable activities and community outreach.
The OC Cage Camp program, the largest basketball camp of its kind west of the Mississippi River, recently celebrated its 20th year. The camps annually attract more than 3,000 young people to campus.
