Oklahoma Christian University is No. 7 among comprehensive universities in the 16-state Western region in the latest U.S. News and World Report Best College rankings. This marked the 12th consecutive year Oklahoma Christian has earned national recognition in the magazine's rankings and the sixth consecutive year the university has been ranked in the top 10.

Oklahoma Christian is one of just two members of the 107-school Council for Christian Colleges and Universities with accreditation of three of its engineering programs, and is the only non-research university in Oklahoma with accredited engineering programs.

For four consecutive years, graduates from OC's School of Business Administration have achieved the highest pass rate on the CPA examination of all Oklahoma universities. For nine straight years, OC's chapter of the history honor society has been selected as the nation's best chapter in its division. University students regularly earn additional national or regional honors in numerous areas, including advertising, business, education, engineering, free enterprise, graphic design, history, language and literature, mass communication, management, music, psychology, science, and athletics.
